Chinook’s Edge School Division No. 73 invites applications for a part-time temporary teaching position at Penhold Crossing Secondary School in Penhold, effective February 1, 2018 to June 30, 2018.  The successful candidate will teach grade 6 core subjects for a job sharing position. This role would be half time with full days alternating each week.  This means that the position would be two days one week and three days the next, on average, with responsibility for presenting all core curricular areas including middle school options.  Preference will be given to applicants with grade 6 training and experience, who is able to work closely and collaboratively with their teaching partner, has a flexible schedule, has excellent communication skills and is willing to be involved in all aspects of school life.

Penhold Crossing Secondary School is a grade 6 to 12 school serving the needs of 330 students in Penhold, Springbrook and the surrounding rural areas south of Red Deer.  We pride ourselves on our academic focus while supporting the needs of the whole child.  We value positive relationships with students, parents and our community partners.
